My Lady Jane by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton, and Jodi Meadows, narrated by Katherine Kellgren. This is hands down the Almost fun audiobook yous can listen to (and the ones I've gotten more positive feedback on than almost any other book I've ever recommended). Also, I am truly obsessed with Katherine Kellgren equally a narrator (she also did the whole Bloody Jack series) and I'thousand devastated by her early death last twelvemonth from cancer. Unbroken: A World War Ii Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption by Laura Hillenbrand, narrated by Edward Herrmann. Its been more than six years since I listened to this book and I yet remember vividly where I was for certain parts of the volume – a grocery store parking lot where I sat for ten minutes considering I couldn't stand to turn it off, folding laundry and thinking it was the best alibi ever to mind to a bit more. This biography of Louis Zamperini, an Olympic runner hopeful whose dreams go put on agree because of WWII and becomes an Air Force pilot, who is shot down during a mission and survives on a life raft for 30 days earlier becoming a prisoner of state of war is incredible. Edward Herrmann (the grandfather in Gilmore Girls) is THE perfect narrator – I was absorbed for the entire book. Being Mortal: Medicine and What Matters in the Finish by Robert Petkoff. As You Wish: Inconceivable Tales from the Making of The Princess Bride written and narrated past Cary Elwes with Joe Layden. Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult, narrated by Audra McDonald, Cassandra Campbell, and Ari Fliakos. The story follows Ruth, an African-American labor and delivery nurse, who is the only person present in the hospital nursery when the baby of a White Supremicist couple goes into cardiac arrest and dies. They sue Ruth for the murder of their child and the stage is prepare for a high-stakes trial. I had NO idea how this was going to play out but I couldn't put information technology downwardly until I constitute out. Daughter of Smoke & Os by Laini Taylor, narrated past Khristine Hvam. Fantasy is more often than not Non my go-to genre of choice, only afterwards a million recommendations for this book, I caved and I LOVED IT And so MUCH.
